I was totally infuriated when I read the latest post from Chedet last night! I was fuming fuming mad…

Either the old man is losing his marbles or that he is just being an asshole as usual… I’m more likely to believe the latter. I really wanted to post my comments on his blog but unfortunately I do not have a movable type account and was too darn lazy to register one.

Dammit, you are one seriously unrepentant irresponsible old man!

Excepts from Chedet’s latest post - "Pohon Maaf"


1. Baru-baru ini Kerajaan dan Timbalan Perdana Menteri serta Menteri-Menteri sibuk memohon maaf kepada orang Cina dan India kerana apa yang dikatakan kata-kata yang dianggap sebagai terlalu perkauman (racist) yang telah disebut oleh beberapa pemimpin Melayu.

2. Sebenarnya orang Melayu sekarang amat takut jika mereka diberi label "racist". Mereka menulis dalam akhbar yang orang Melayu bukan racist. Demikianlah ketakutan mereka sehingga apabila hak mereka di buruk-burukan dan diserang, mereka tidak berani mempertahankan diri mereka.

3. Malang bagi TPM dan Kerajaan Dato Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi setelah memohon maaf secara terbuka permohonan maaf daripada pemimpin tertinggi Umno ditolak oleh pemimpin-pemimpin kaum berkenaan. Mereka menuntut supaya orang yang perkatakan perkataan yang dilabel "racist" sendiri memohon maaf.
4. Satu lagi peristiwa yang memalukan ialah apabila Kerajaan hantar seorang Menteri untuk minta maaf daripada Kerajaan Cina kerana kononnya wanita rakyat negara Cina telah ditelanjang oleh polis dan ini direkod dalam video.

5. Kemudian didapati wanita itu bukan rakyat negara Cina dan bukan pun Cina Malaysia. Dia adalah seorang perempuan Melayu.

6. Sebaliknya, apabila orang yang bukan Melayu mengeluar perkataan atau catitan yang boleh ditafsir sebagai racist, orang Melayu tidak pernah tuntut supaya pihak berkuasa memohon maaf.

7. Dalam Memo Hindraf ke Perdana Menteri UK banyak perkataan yang terlampau dan racist terdapat didalamnya. Contoh:

a) Kerajaan dikatakan dibantu oleh "Islamic Extremist violent armed terrorists" (orang Melayu)

b) Mereka berkata Kerajaan Malaysia melakukan "Ethnic Cleansing" iaitu Kerajaan sedang membunuh dan menghapuskan orang Tamil.

c) 100 orang keturunan India "ditetak dan dibunuh oleh Kerajaan yang dikuasai oleh UMNO." Perbuatan ini kononnya adalah "mini genocide" (pembunuhan beramai-ramai mini)

d) Tiap tiga minggu kuil Hindu diroboh.

e) Kerajaan yang kononnya dikuasai oleh UMNO telah lancar serangan bersenjata dengan 600 anggota polis, polis simpanan, pelampau Islam dan pengganas (terrorist) bersenjata (orang Melayu).

f) Pegawai Bandaraya dan Polis dikatakan membaling batu dan menyerang orang Hindu dengan pisau, kayu dan batang besi. Kononya 20 orang Hindu mengalami cedera parah.

8. Tulisan dalam memo Hindraf ini bukan sahaja racist tetapi juga "seditious"(hasutan).

9. Seorang penuntut universiti Wee Meng Chee telah perlekehkan Negaraku dengan mengguna lagu Negaraku tetapi dengan lirik yang mempermainkan sembahyang dan azan orang Melayu (Islam). Azan dijadikan duet lagu cinta.

10. Apakah mereka dikehendaki memohon maaf? Apakah pemimpin mereka dikehendaki memohon maaf? Jauh sekali. Sebenarnya Wee dipertahan oleh pemimpin-pemimpin parti Cina dan anggota Hindraf dibebaskan daripada tahanan dan ada yang dengan bebasnya bertanding dalam pilihanraya dan menang menjadi wakil rakyat.

11. Mereka menuntut supaya tidak ada diskriminasi oleh Kerajaan. Tetapi nampaknya mereka bukan sahaja bebas malah mendapat kehormatan dengan dipanggil "Yang Berhormat" setelah berkata perkataan yang amat keterlaluan bahkan merupa hasutan.

12. Soalnya kenapakah Kerajaan berat sebelah, menyembunyi kata-kata racist Hindraf tetapi melapur dengan meluas apa yang dikatakan oleh pemimpin Melayu. Kenapakah Menteri keturunan India atau ketua-ketua kaum India tidak dikehendaki memohon maaf?

13. Sesungguhnya keadaan hubungan antara kaum bukan lebih baik hasil PRU 2008, tetapi ia menjadi amat buruk. Mungkin saya dituduh sebagai menyumbang kepada keadaan melalui tulisan saya. Tetapi pada saya amatlah tidak adil jika satu pihak dapat kebebasan sedangkan pihak yang ditohmah tidak boleh buka mulut.

Eh, hello Tun... I think you missed out a few important facts before you bash us non-Malays la... Can you like not be so biased ah?

How dare you!

• When Najib threatened to bathe the keris with the Chinese blood - was that not an act of racism? What, did you seriously think that was another Zhang Yimou movie – ‘House of the Flying Keris’?

• When the Hishamuddin took the fucking keris and was flaunting around – oh that wasn’t racist as well either? Perhaps you thought that was actually another sequel to ‘House of Flying Keris – Part 2’?

• This Wee Meng Chee fella parodied the 'Negarakuku', Tun M said why didn’t MCA apologize? What the hell was he thinking when he stated that? Have I developed amnesia without me knowing because I simpy cannot recall Wee being a member of the MCA in the first place and as much as I dislike MCA myself, can someone please explain to me why should MCA apologize for some kid who is a non member studying in Taiwan? As opposed to that moronic Ahmad being an UMNO member.

** Note: Anyway it’s not as though we accept the on-behalf-apologies. You don’t slap a person and let another person take the fall and apologize for what you've done. And Ahmad’s statement yesterday that he refuses to make any apologies has indeed attested to 2 things:

- He is not remorseful at all… like yay!

- He sucessfully made both Pak Lah and Najib look very foolish… like double yay!

• The Bar council issue – When the Malays started demonstrating outside, and made all those racist 'babi', 'balik cina, balik india' remarks... no actions were taken on them despite us ‘babi-s’ feeling insulted, and did anybody made any apologies to us? Nada-zilch! Also, since when have/had any of the minority groups ever dared to go public and started these name callings to the Malays in the first place? So what the hell was Tun M babbling about this apologizing shit in his point number (6)…?

• During the Hindraf protests, the FRU came with their fucking big trucks and sprayed water cannons like they were gardening. But when the UMNO Malays gathered around KOMTAR to protest over the NEP abolishment proposal when PR first took over Penang state, and not forgetting the Malays gathered outside the Bar Council to demonstrate, there were indeed no FRU trucks anywhere at all. This one not called double standard ah?

• When the non Malays tried to voice out their dissatisfaction about the unfairness in the government policies, the UMNO members immediately asked them to shut the fuck up and not to question the Malay rights. Why is it when people demand special privileges it is not perceived as being racist but when one asked for equality for every citizen, this act is deemed as being racist? My logic is failing me on this so can someone please help to enlighten me?

• Is Tun M saying there are no longer any HINDRAF members being detained in ISA now? Is he developing amnesia? Tsk….tsk…

• When Mathathir wrote in his book about his theory that intelligence derives from a person's genetic and that Malays should marry outside their own kind and encourage interracial marriages because Malays had dumb genes. Let’s not forget that Tun M's grandfather came from India…

• When the government manipulated the racial composition in this country against the non-Malays, this is not another act of racism?

I can go on and on and add more things here... but bottom-line is the last post from Chedet was indeed very uncalled for…

At the end of the day, it's not the rakyats (us) - consisting of the Malays, Chinese, Indians and other minority groups as a whole that are racists. It is the federal government themselves and people like you who are racists - being irresponsible by instigating this racism issue!
