9 More Days to Go…

The events that have been taking place in the last couple of months, weeks, days have been rather interesting especially after the PP by-election.

I really gotta credit DSAI for making the BN people crumble under pressure. Sure, the top leaders are still rendering a carefree image on the outside to the public; acting as though the Sept 16 threats are NOTHING except that DSAI is just merely crying out wolf.

Unfortunately there is a reason why people say ‘Actions indeed Speaks Louder than Words’ :)

It is very amusing to see this bunch of people pulling out exaggerated dramas as well as some incredulous stunts ..

The first one is their interesting MP visiting cum training outing - ‘lawatan sambil belajar’

When they first announced it, suddenly with the speed equivalent to a lightning strike, a handful of articles suddenly sprung up all over the media consisting different BN leaders swearing saying that everything is just purely coincidental – indeed nothing ado at all with 16/09.

Aiya ministers ah, ok la, tell us once enoughla... if no, then-mah no-lor... why so many of you must keep repeating that it is not related one?

By the way, hor...coincidentally ya, just coincidentally nia hor..

As I’m typing this post, out of the left field , I suddenly remembered something I’ve read before that one of the top seven signs that somebody is lying includes being 'overly defensive'…

Hmm... dunno why I suddenly have this thought… anyway just pure coincidental nia, ok!

The 2nd event happening is that the conflicts among the BN members are seriously worsening to the point that at first they seem to hit each other from one sub component party to another. Now they are really escalating to scraping one another within the same party itself… Everybody seems to be wary of each of the members – suspiciously wondering who is 'jumping ship' and who is 'still loyal'…

Most of the people in this country have long given up trusting the alliance to represent them. And now, with the trust within the party members themselves being washed down the drain, it simply means BN has already activated their own self destruct button…

Let’s take a good look at the case of our dear friend Ahmad Ismail as an example.

• Initially he was accused of making a racist remark.
• MCA and especially Gerakan then grew some balls slammed him up the wall along with slapping him with police reports and demanding for UMNO to take action.
• The PM then told the public that Ahmad didn’t mean it, followed by the DPM apologizing on his behalf from UMNO. They apparently could not locate Ahmad.
• MCA and Gerakan were still not satisfied.
• Ahmad suddenly reappeared and hit back at Gerakan to the point actually saying BN does not need Gerakan
• Penang UMNO then backed Ahmad thus snubbing back at the UMNO top leaders

‘Gerakan can get out from BN’

….. Other local Umno leaders such as state secretary Azhar Ibrahim, Bukit Mertajam division chief Musa Syeikh Fadzir and Bayan Baru division chief Mohd Zain Omar joined Ahmad to rap those who objected to Ahmad’s rally speech.

…..He even claimed BN would not have lost in Penang in the last general election if not for the incompetency of former chief minister Koh and his party.

“MCA could have won more seats if not for Gerakan,” he claimed.

He accused Koh and Gerakan of using him as a pawn to resurrect their waning credibility, position and relevance among the Chinese community……
…. In a clear sign of defiance and internal mutiny over the controversy, Musa hit out at the Umno top leadership for apologizing on behalf of the party without checking the facts with Ahmad.
Deputy Prime Minister and Umno deputy president Najib Abdul Razak had already apologised over the issue to Chinese Malaysians on behalf of the party.

“The national leadership can have its own stand, but Penang divisional leaders have theirs.

“We fully back Ahmad on this issue,” Musa told journalists, rejecting outright Najib's apologetic gesture…..

BN is now on the roll carrying out their own suicide mission :)

I definitely agree with Anwar when he said that ‘a week is too long in politics’

Look at what BN manage to accomplish in just a few days? :)
